Foundation support

Our foundation donors are critical to our work.

Our foundation donors are vital to our work, making it possible for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams to provide lifesaving care in over 72 countries around the world. In 2022, our foundation supporters contributed $29.5 million dollars to MSF’s work around the world.

The Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Foundation (PCLB) supports MSF's commitment to delivering high-quality medical care to those affected by armed conflict, natural disasters, and epidemics—working in settings where critical health care services would otherwise be absent. PCLB also applauds MSF's staff, who often face challenging circumstances, yet work tirelessly on behalf of people in crisis worldwide. It is through these efforts that a foundation our size can have a global impact.

The Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Foundation, Inc

We recognize the commitment of our foundation donors by including them in our annual report and published donor listings. We also keep supporters in the loop through our quarterly Alert newsletter as well as through special  invitations to events with our executive director and other MSF staff. When desired, we can send foundations reports on areas of interest and the impact of the grants they’ve made to MSF.
