South Sudanese Take Refuge in Uganda

Over the last year, 901,755 South Sudanese people fleeing violence have crossed the border into Uganda; the vast majority are women and children. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) began offering medical care to refugees in Adjumani in July 2016, and teams are now working in four settlements, providing inpatient and outpatient care, maternity care, treatment for malnutrition, and water and sanitation services.
